Here is a "tried and true" example of installing a big engine in a small body. Ford Special Vehicle Team's 380 horse power, 450lb of torque, 5.4L SOHC Supercharged Triton V-8 in to a Regular Cab, Flareside, Short bed pick truck.

Results results is 0-60mph in the 5 seconds and quarter mile in the 13s, top speed of 147mph

This particular one is a well preserved example. Close to mint condition, only 52k miles from new.
